SELF-TAUGHT GRAPHIC DESIGN.
I taught myself graphic design in college, as I thought it would be a useful skill in the working world. Not only has it led me to design media kirs, social media content, and infographics, but it has also created excellent communication between myself and graphic designers.
My capstone project in Strategic Communications was to help Populous, a sports architecture firm, differentiate themselves in Kansas City, which is the heart of sports architecture. My team, Chameleon Creative, did just that. We designed a campaign
rooted in boosting consumer experience inside stadia. I designed this plans book for our project using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD.
Hallmark Research Project
One of my favorite projects was a research assignment on attendance to the Hallmark museum in Kansas City, the Hallmark Visitors' Center. We presented our findings to the team to help increase millennial and KC-based visitors.
